Spoken Word x New Beginnings 

Spoken word and opera may not seem a logical combination at first sight, but both share an important narrative and musical tradition. This tradition in particular brings these two art forms together, which sheds a new light on storytelling. On this intersection, performer and spoken word artist Manu van Kersbergen curated a program with four word artists and five musicians. In their very own way, they share their view on the theme of our festival: New Beginnings.
