During the entire festival, you will find impressive video artworks from the talented artist Kévin Bray spread throughout the foyer. Done especially for the Opera Forward Festival, he created new work related to New Beginnings, the theme of this edition of the festival. With this work, he asks himself questions such as aren’t we all waiting for a new beginning? And how long has it been? And how much influence do the new generations have on this?
On 6 and 7 March, Kévin's artworks will be on display in the Markmeesterscafé. This bar is located to the left of the Boekmanzaal and can be reached through the main entrance of Dutch National Opera & Ballet.
